WOLFANG GA100 4K 30FPS Actionkamera

The Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him and all Prophets before him) said that if you do not thank the people you have not thanked Allah! So I thought the best way to thank this company is to write an honest review of their service. And what a service they have given me!

After doing a lot of research online I decided to buy this Wolfang GA100 camera because it was competing with the more expensive ones, but at a third of the price. Little did I know that the customer service I will be getting from this company would be second to none.

I received the camera in a beautiful box, with all accessories packaged neatly and professionally. It is my first action camera so it took a bit to get used to it’s operation using the buttons, but even with my fat fingers I was navigating through the menu with ease within no time. I took it with me on a mountaineering expedition and was taking videos every step of the way. However, unfortunately a fault developed with the screen, three black vertical lines appeared to the left of it.

When I got back home I sent an email to their customer support, they replied the next day asking for more details and pictures of the screen. I sent them what they requested and they (again) within 24 hours replied and told me the screen is faulty and they will replace the camera. They apologised for the inconvenience and asked to which address the new camera should be sent to. I asked them what did they want me to send back, just the camera or the entire box. They told me we don’t want to waste your time, so we will send you an entire new box, camera and accessories, you don’t need to send anything back. Within 24 hours I got an entire new camera box set! I have never had customer service like that before.

I would recommend this camera for two reasons, first and foremost you will have the excellent customer services provided by this camera, they will have your back. My experience with them showed me that they want to make sure you are happy with the purchase and will go the extra mile to ensure that.

Secondly the camera itself. It is simply a wonderful little camera! While on the mountaineering expedition I was taking it in and out of its water proof case, switching it on and off, leaving it on standby recording (2K) video after video and not once did it crash or freeze on me. For an action camera beginner like me, this is the camera to have, and it costs under a third of it’s competition. However, I do want to be 100% honest and say that some of the video footage had problems with sound synchronisation when played back on a computer, but this is a very easily to remedy with simple video editing software.

Do I recommend this camera?
Absolutely! I can not recommend this camera enough to those that are thinking of getting an action camera. In the future I will be buying another Wolfang.

I am very much into filming and taking pictures of nature and needed a camera that I could leave outside in all weather conditions, and in this little GA 100 action camera I can do exactly that, and better still without breaking the bank.

As you will have seen in the description it comes with 21 accessories so you can attach it to just about anything.

You get two batteries, each will last about an hour while filming in 4K and just under 2 hours in 1080p.

Good customer support, my case was broken and they sent a replacement free of charge and the video and picture it super good! I use the camera for rc car driving videos, pool, vacation stuff like that! Also cheap good camera I paid only 50 dollars for it. Better than others.

Let's compare two low-cost ($40-$50) GoPro clone bicycle helmet cameras: (my old) Crosstour 1080p vs. (my new) Wolfang GA100 4K. My old Crosstour had no EIS (electronic image stabilization). My new Wolfang 4K camera has EIS, but it only appears to work when shooting at 2.7K. It turns EIS off when 4K is selected. I guess I can live with that. As expected, at 30fps on both cameras, the 2.7K (1520p) with EIS on the new Wolfang was a huge improvement in video clarity, color and smoothness over 1080p / no EIS on the old Crosstour.

Notes:
- I don't use the WiFi feature on either camera, preferring instead to USB-connect to my editing PC.
- I edit my bicycling videos using Sony Vegas Pro 12, rendered at 1520p for the Wolfang running at 2.7K.
- On my motorcycle helmet I continue to use my trusty old 1080p Sena Prism Tube camera (no EIS), which has a handy in-helmet mic that enables me to comment during rides.
